RESERVations

We run on a first-come first-serve basis.

Reservations are not required.

If you would like to make a reservation you must call. We do not do online or same-day reservations.

We reserve a maximum of 4 mopeds, 6 bicycles and 2 tandem bicycles daily, all other units are strictly first-come first-serve.

Last rentals go out 1 3/4 hours before closing and everything must be returned a 1/2 hour before closing.

Reservations are for the day rate only and are held until noon at the latest. There are no reservations for mopeds on Saturdays or holiday weekends. Bicycle reservations are available any day. Moped rentals are weather dependent. There are no reservations or day rate for E-Bikes due to limited inventory.

The latest rentals can go out is 1 hour and 15 minutes before closing time. Our hours are subject to change. Please see News for special seasonal updates to our hours. Please call if the weather is questionable. Per state law, all mopeds are single rider only. Must have a Valid Drivers License. Minors must be accompanied by legal guardian in order to rent Mopeds or E-Bikes.

What To See and Do

Rent a moped or bike from us and tour Madeline Island, the largest of the Apostle Islands in beautiful Lake Superior in northern Wisconsin.

Travel gently rolling roads through village and woods. Stroll lovely beaches and hike trails above sandstone cliffs.

Visit the sights close to town, or pack a lunch and arrange a canoe or kayak rental at one of the parks, or spend the day wandering the entire island.

It's your choice! We're here to help. Your complete satisfaction is our goal.

How To Find Us

Your visit to the island begins with a 20 minute ferryboat ride from Bayfield.

Save the car ferry fee, and leave your car on the mainland for the day!

Because we're located in the heart of downtown La Pointe, you can walk to our shop from the ferry dock.

After disembarking from the ferry, just walk up the road towards the gazebo.

Turn right at the post office onto Main Street, and then take a left towards Adventure Vacations.

You´ll find us near the end of the Big Blue Building on the right.
